According to our reporter at South Beach we heard that Tap Tap Restaurant at South Beach organised a Food Network and Wine Festival . Each world reknowned chef cooked a course with a wine pairing, adding up to a $350 per plate donation to Partners in Health, with the event being SOLD OUT. There was also a live and silent auction. Bruce Weber, the famous photographer had an image signed that went for $9,000, there was also a bottle of wine for $2,000, a cruise for $2,000 and some artwork. Another photographer donated 23 blown up original prints from her time in Haiti, each was sold for $500, with the money for each one paying for school for a year for a child in Haiti. Alena and Ralph of MaWoN performed acoustic alongside Manno Charlemagne. Besides the usual MaWoN songs, Ralph sang "turn your lights down low" by Bob Marley, and Alena sang "Papa Danmbalah" by Toto Bissainthe, as well as some duets with Manno.
